By extending reliable, high-speed internet to households, schools, and businesses in underserved areas, the project is breaking down barriers to education, commerce, and opportunity, building stronger connections for the community’s future.

This phase deployed:

  • Fiber optic infrastructure in San Pedro, Lozano, and Blue Town
  • Tarana fixed wireless service in Lozano and Blue Town
  • Three additional fixed wireless projects expanding access across rural communities
  • This proof of concept’s success contributed to South Texas and VTX1 in securing a $51M IIJA, Capital Projects Fund BOOT II Grant from the Texas Broadband Development Office
